With over 25 years of experience in automotive, manufacturing and IT, Timm is an expert in human-centric product and service innovation for the digital age.

Timm has extensive international business experience in the Americas, Japan, China, and Europe and is experienced at bringing together global teams to achieve ambitious goals. Creating flexibility, excellence in execution, speed of learning are performance indicators that Timm values highly in all his work.

Prior to joining Conscient Strategies, Timm founded a software analytics company and was a managing director for a VW associated innovation consultancy, which he and his team built up to an annual delivery of consulting and engineering of 180 FTE per year. He also drove large change-initiatives in sales, service, and engineering during his six years working for BMW Group. Before, that, Timm was a project lead in global post-merger-integration projects Hewlett-Packard and a software testing lead for Mercedes-Benz.

In addition to his change and management expertise, Timm has a broad understanding of technology, AI systems, and ways to increase productivity for corporate and mid-sized organizations.

Timm holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Bayreuth in Germany and certificates from Stanford d.school, Hasso-Plattner-Institute, and University of St. Gallen. He is a high school basketball champion and all-state first team player. He also is a United States Parachute Association life-time member and a skydiver with over 1,400 skydives.
