Michael Maier has over 25 years of experience with global organizations in the industrial products and automotive sectors. He is an experienced performance improvement, transformation, and cost reduction consultant with expertise in commercial and non-financial diligence as well as a track record in post-merger-integration and carve-out projects.

Building on his strong strategy and operations background, Michael understands the nuts and bolts of complex end-to-end value chains for highly engineered products. He brings a strong focus on results, people, organizational development, and systems thinking to every project.

During his career, Michael held several industry and consulting leadership positions including Application Engineer for Voith Paper Machines, Director Supply Chain for Teleflex Inc., and Head of Production and Supply Chain for Dornier Medical Technologies. In his role as Director in the Strategy & Operations of Deloitte Consulting, he managed numerous transformation and improvement projects for clients in the industrial equipment, commercial vehicle and automotive segments.

Michael holds a Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University and two Bachelor Degrees in Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire (UK) and Fachhochschule Augsburg (Germany). Michael lives with his family in Munich and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and cross-country skiing.
