Megan Oswald Consultant
Megan brings twenty years of energy and problem solving to projects with clients in the retail, manufacturing, energy, defense, and small business industries. She quickly identifies and aligns actions with strategy to help leaders support their mission and execute their vision.
She began her career as a nuclear engineer in the Navy and draws on her technical experience to provide a holistic approach to challenges and roadblocks. Pivoting from the technical field after her enlistment and challenging herself to explore her creativity and adaptability, Megan then became an entrepreneur. She founded and operated a digital storefront, doubling revenue for four consecutive years. Her technical degree blended well with her business experience to provide a unique foundation for her expansion into leadership and project management roles. Prior to joining Conscient Strategies, Megan provided critical interface between the shipbuilding divisions within General Dynamics and Huntington Ingalls Industries as they jointly designed and began construction of the newest ballistic missile nuclear submarine at Newport News Shipbuilding.
Megan enjoys using her operational and leadership experience to collaborate and connect with leaders at every level, coming alongside them to enhance their processes. As a military veteran and a military spouse, Megan understands and embraces change and brings joy and confidence to the uncertainty of life. Megan also supports her military community as an advisor for a volunteer organization, assisting transitioning service members that are interested in exploring entrepreneurial ventures.
Megan received her Bachelor of Science from Thomas Edison State University and obtained her Master of Science in Operational Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. She also earned her Private Pilot’s license in 2008 and continues to relish the thrill of flying.
