Ipek (pronounced ee-pek) Taffe is an Executive and Leadership coach, with a passion for developing executives, high potential leaders and their teams. As individuals and teams engage in discovery, reflect on data driven feedback, embrace their strengths and values, identify and address goals, they rise as confident, authentic, humble, resilient leaders, and catalysts for change.
As a tenured executive and as an ICF Certified Leadership Coach with training through Adler USA and Georgetown Institute of Transformational Leadership, Ipek honors “Cura Personalis”—Care for the Whole Person— using highly regarded techniques and data sources such as Emotional Intelligence, The Leadership Circle Profile, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator in addition to ICF coaching competencies. Ipek’s coaching also reflects great understanding and appreciation of culture.
Her education includes degrees and certifications in Psychology, Education, Non– Profit Management; as well as Organizational Consulting and Change Leadership to support her Coaching Clients within the context and complexity of their organizations.
Prior to launching her career as a leadership coach, Ipek served as the COO and VP at The Planning Council- NGO- for Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia planning, developing and implementing complex human service programs for Foundations, local, state federal government agencies and the US Military. She continues to be a passionate advocate for the elimination of childhood hunger, eradicating homelessness and improving early education systems.
Ipek gives back to the community through coaching for The Honor Foundation to help transition military personnel to civilian workforce, by supporting emerging leaders through ICF Virginia and Philadelphia Chapters. She is a mom, Chef D’amateur-Mediterranean, Yoga practitioner.
